For the Young Lions brief, we tackled a communication gap faced by some children on the autism spectrum—the difficulty in recognizing emotions in speech. Earmotion is an earpiece aid powered by Amazon Alexa that detects emotions in conversations and subtly relays that information, helping children better understand tone and intent. A simple tech solution with the power to create deeper human connections.
